April 15 2026

AUBURN, Ala.- Auburn Parks and Recreation recently installed automated external defibrillators (AEDs) at several parks to enhance safety for patrons and visitors. The AEDs are now available at key locations throughout the City, including the bathroom buildings at Ann Pearson Park, Dinius Park, Hickory Dickory Park and Sam Harris Park, as well as in between the Historic Nunn Winston House and the Community Building at Kiesel Park.

This initiative is part of Auburn Parks and Recreation's ongoing commitment to providing safe, recreational spaces for the community. The installation of these new AEDs adds to the 20 units already located throughout local recreation centers, parks and athletic facilities, ensuring that in the event of a medical emergency, immediate access to life-saving equipment is available to help save lives.
